The beautiful 18th-century Synagogue of Siena was damaged during the earthquake we had in February of this year. Estimated cost of repair is €320,000, but funds are in short supply. I have just made a donation, and perhaps you can too. It is crucial that we preserve the Jewish heritage of Siena, which dates back to at least the 13th century.
