You may know about the Palio, but to truly understand Siena, you must look to its Contrade, the 17 distinct territories within the city walls. Today we will visit the Oratory and Museum of the Contrada del Leocorno (Unicorn) to learn about the history of the Contrade, the Palio, and the uniqueness of Siena.
