Description: As usual, my focus will be in Italy, and we’ve got some fabulous local saints to celebrate, from Sant’Antonino of Florence to San Bernardino of Siena to St Rita of Cascia. We shall, however, cross the Alps to meet the young Joan of Arc, see who represents May Day and Mother’s Day (one guess there), plus we’ve got 3 apostles’ iconography to investigate this month.
