This is an exciting month indeed for saints and traditions! We’ll meet on Saturday since Sunday is Easter, but of course we will talk about this most important of holidays. We’ll also get to know a recent addition to the Catholic calendar, England’s patron saint, an evangelist destined to reside in Venice, and the patron saint of Lucca (and us single ladies). Plus, it’s finally time to dedicate some time to St Catherine of Siena (the reason I’m in this city now!), patron saint of Italy and a fascinating woman.
