Facebook Livestream with Anna & Ambra - from Orvieto!
We’re venturing out of the safety of our city walls once more, this time, to Umbria! But can we really leave Siena so far behind? NO, because if it weren’t for Sienese artists and architects, the stunningly gorgeous Cathedral of Orvieto wouldn’t look the way it does! All campanalismo (‘bell-tower pride’) aside, Orvieto can trace its roots back to the Etruscans, and it holds one of Catholicism’s most important relics. The popes would escape the muggy air of the Vatican to take in the hilltop breeze (hence the magnificent cathedral with stunning frescoes inside), and we will enjoy walking along the tufa-lined streets amidst the friendly people of the city. And, certamente, we will have our aperitivo in your honour at the end of our stroll!
Time: 11am EST, 8am PST (5pm Italy time)
